Direct Method Cash Flow Template

I need an Excel template purpose-built for financial reporting that focuses solely on the cash flow statement laid out under the direct method. The workbook should let me drop in raw transaction data (or copy-paste from my accounting system) and instantly summarise cash received from customers, cash paid to suppliers, operating expenses, investing activities, and financing activities. Totals should roll forward automatically so the ending cash balance reconciles with the opening balance.

Please embed clear cell protections, colour-coded input areas, and concise instructions inside the sheet so anyone on my team can update it without breaking formulas. A clean, print-ready summary page and a dashboard-style visual of monthly movements would be ideal, provided they stay lightweight and don’t slow the file down.
