I have a batch of Microsoft Word files in a variety of layouts—some follow our older templates while others are completely free-form. My goal is to extract the text from each file and recreate it in a digital format that meets WCAG accessibility requirements so anyone using assistive technology can read the content without barriers.

Your task is to open every document, copy—or where needed, manually re-type—the text, clean up any odd spacing or hidden formatting, and structure the content with proper headings, lists, alt text placeholders, and other markup that satisfies WCAG success criteria (AA level is fine). When you encounter tables, sidebars, footnotes, or embedded images, please handle them in a way that keeps the reading order logical and fully perceivable.

Deliverables:
• An accessible version of each document (HTML or tagged PDF—whichever you prefer, just be consistent).
• A quick compliance check report for each file noting the WCAG techniques you applied or any outstanding items.
• A folder with any support files (images, style sheets) so I can maintain the content later.

I can supply the Word docs immediately via cloud share. Let me know how many you can process per day and what tools—Word itself, Adobe Acrobat, an HTML editor, or accessibility checkers—you typically use so we stay on the same page about workflow.
