## Social Media & Email Marketing Specialist for Established Gay Adult Entertainment Brand
We are an established gay adult entertainment company with a large existing content library and modest subscription website, and we are looking for a **freelance digital marketer to help us grow traffic, engagement, and paid memberships**.
This is not a startup with no content or audience. We have an established brand, an extensive library, active social accounts, existing customers/email lists, and new content released regularly. We need someone who can help us market these assets much more effectively.
### Primary Responsibilities
**Social Media — Highest Priority**
We need someone to take an active role in growing and managing our social presence, including:
- Developing an ongoing social media strategy
- Creating and scheduling posts using our existing photo/video content
- Growing followers and engagement organically
- Identifying appropriate hashtags, communities, trends, and promotional opportunities
- Repurposing our large existing content library for social media
- Helping determine what should be posted, where, and how often
- Driving qualified traffic from social platforms to our subscription website
- Working within the restrictions that social platforms place on adult-content businesses
- **Strong focus on X/Twitter expertise**, including planning diverse post schedules and driving paid membership conversions.
Experience with **X/Twitter and other adult-friendly or adult-tolerant platforms** is particularly valuable.
**Email Marketing — Secondary Priority**
We currently use **Campaigner** and have an established customer/prospect email database.
Responsibilities may include:
- Creating promotional email campaigns
- Developing a consistent email calendar
- Segmenting current members, recent cancellations, former customers, etc.
- Creating win-back and reactivation campaigns
- Improving subject lines, messaging, click-through rates, and conversions
- Developing automated email sequences where appropriate
- Testing offers and creative to determine what converts
Direct experience with Campaigner is helpful but not required if you have strong experience with similar email marketing platforms.
**Affiliate Marketing — Third Priority**
We are expanding our affiliate program and would eventually like assistance with:
- Recruiting appropriate affiliates
- Affiliate outreach
- Developing promotional materials/offers
- Tracking affiliate performance
- Identifying new traffic and partnership opportunities
### Who We’re Looking For
**Adult-industry experience is strongly preferred.** At minimum, you must be completely comfortable marketing legal adult content and understand that mainstream marketing strategies often need to be modified because of platform restrictions.
We are especially interested in someone who:
- Has successfully marketed adult websites, creators, studios, subscription sites, or similar businesses
- Understands organic social media growth rather than simply buying ads
- Knows how to turn existing content into effective promotional material
- Understands conversion-focused marketing
- Can work independently and bring us ideas rather than waiting for detailed instructions
- Is comfortable working with gay male adult content
- Communicates clearly and reliably in **strong English proficiency**
- Is based in or aligned with **US/Canada time zones.**
### Initial Engagement
We would like to begin on a **part-time freelance basis**, approximately **10–15 hours per week**, with the possibility of expanding the role if we see measurable results. This could become a long-term relationship for the right person.
