DFW Videographer - Customer Interviews & HVAC Install Footage (Shoot Only)

Benchmark Service is a Mitsubishi heating and cooling installer serving the entire Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We're building a library of short videos showing real homeowners, real problems and how we solved them. The footage will be edited by our editor for YouTube, our website, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

We need a local videographer to film on location. This job is SHOOT-ONLY: no editing, color grading or music. We need someone who shows up prepared, captures excellent footage and clean audio, and delivers organized original files.

TYPICAL SHOOT: a customer interview plus detail shots of a finished installation, about 2 hours on site. For example, a sunroom where we hid all refrigerant lines from inside the room. Our customers are often older and not used to being on camera, so we need someone patient who can put people at ease.

TYPICAL SHOT LIST: wide shots of the room; close-ups of the indoor units; the outdoor unit; shots showing the clean, hidden installation; and the homeowner using the room and the remote.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Resolution: 4K
- Frame rate: 30 fps for interviews, 60 fps for detail and install shots. No 24 fps.
- Orientation: shoot horizontal, framed so it can be cropped to vertical 9:16. Keep the subject centered with room around them and nothing important at the edges. Shoot a handful of the best detail shots vertically as well.
- Audio: wireless lavalier mics on the homeowner and the interviewer, recorded as separate WAV files (48 kHz, 24-bit), plus camera audio as backup. Clap or slate at the start of each take, and record 30 seconds of room tone. Audio is critical.
- Picture settings: natural or slightly flat look. No filters or baked-in color.
- Gear: 4K camera, wireless lavaliers and a separate audio recorder, gimbal or stabilizer

DELIVERABLES: original, uncompressed files straight off the camera and recorder, uploaded to a shared Google Drive folder within 2 business days, organized into folders: Interview, B-Roll, Audio, Photos. Benchmark Service owns all footage with full usage rights.

LOCATIONS: homes anywhere in the DFW Metroplex, about 80 miles across. You must be willing to drive.

ONGOING WORK: if the first shoot goes well, we expect regular shoots across the Metroplex.
