Developmental Editor for Memoir

I’ve completed a full draft of my memoir and now need a seasoned developmental editor to take it to the next level. Your main mission will be to examine the overarching plot and structure, make sure each scene earns its place, help me deepen the character development of the people who populate my story, and refine the writing style and voice so the narrative flows naturally from first page to last.

I’m looking for big-picture guidance rather than line-by-line corrections at this stage. Please dig into pacing, theme coherence, narrative tension, and tonal consistency, then show me where the emotional beats land and where they miss. I value clear, constructive notes that not only highlight problems but also suggest solutions I can act on right away.

Deliverables I expect:
• A marked-up manuscript (Word with Track Changes or Google Docs comments) showing structural moves, scene trims or additions, and voice tweaks
• A concise editorial letter summarising key strengths, priority fixes, and a proposed revision roadmap
