Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced Web Developer / Full-Stack Engineer to develop a responsive, high-performance Telugu Regional e-Paper Web Portal inspired by epaper.netitharam.com.
The platform is meant for publishing our daily print newspaper edition digitally. The admin should be able to upload a daily multi-page PDF (or page-wise high-resolution images), and readers should be able to navigate, zoom, crop/clip, and share individual news items seamlessly on mobile and desktop devices.
Key Modules & Requirements:
1. Benchmark & UI/UX Layout (Reference: epaper.netitharam.com):
Clean top navigation bar featuring the newspaper logo, Telugu publication date, edition selector (e.g., Main Edition, District Editions), and page number switcher.
Responsive desktop & mobile-first layout with smooth touch gestures (swipe between pages, pinch-to-zoom).
Thumbnail sidebar or bottom tray showing small previews of all pages in that day’s edition.
2. e-Paper Viewer & Reader Engine:
High-resolution rendering without text blur when users zoom in to read small print columns.
Fast page loading using modern web libraries (e.g., PDF.js, Real3D FlipBook, or Canvas-based image slicing).
Options for users to:
Zoom In / Zoom Out / Reset View.
Download full edition PDF or individual page PDF/Image.
Switch easily between Page 1, 2, 3, etc.
3. Interactive News Clipping / Cropping Tool (Mandatory):
Similar to regional Telugu e-papers, readers must have a "Crop / Cut" tool.
A selectable rectangular crop frame to highlight a specific article or advertisement on the page.
