We are Vega LLC, makers of AITerm (https://ai-term.com), a native macOS terminal with AI command suggestions, error explanation, local or cloud AI connections, and a free everyday tier.
We want a technically fluent marketer to help relevant Mac users discover and try the product. Our initial audience is Mac developers, technical indie founders, and local-AI users. You should be comfortable using a terminal and showing a real workflow accurately.
This is a 14-day, $900 fixed-price pilot, beginning with a $150 paid fit test included in the total. We will continue to the remaining milestones only if there is a good fit. There is no automatic monthly retainer. We are seeking one freelancer for this pilot.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Try AITerm on your own compatible Mac and demonstrate one useful workflow with actual screenshots.
- Research 20 relevant communities, newsletters, directories or creators. Explain audience fit, posting/contact route, recent relevant coverage, any fee, and existing-contact status.
- Produce one practical screenshot-led tutorial, two short channel-specific adaptations, and up to 10 personalized outreach drafts. Include one revision round.
- Carry out approved outreach and permitted submissions, then record publication links, send receipts, responses and next steps.
- Provide a concise results report distinguishing reach, clicks, download-link requests, confirmed users and any supported conversion evidence.
- Help gather a small amount of voluntary user feedback within the agreed scope.
We prioritize distribution to relevant existing audiences. You may bring your own audience or demonstrate success earning relevant coverage through outreach. Please explain which you offer. Writing posts for our own accounts alone will not fulfill the brief.
MILESTONES
1. $150: hands-on product fit test, one screenshot-led use case, five qualified targets and proposed route.
2. $300: full target list, tutorial, two short adaptations and tailored outreach drafts.
3. $450: approved distribution, evidence register and results report.
Fees for advertisements, creator placements or tools are excluded and require separate written approval. We do not expect guaranteed editorial coverage, sales or viral results. Payment is for agreed, accepted deliverables and execution. If approval timing changes the distribution scope, we will adjust it before funding that milestone.
GOOD FIT
- You have promoted developer tools, native Mac software, technical SaaS or local-AI products.
- You can show actual distribution work and explain your own role and measured results.
- You can write clear technical English and understand community-specific rules.
- You own an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 13 or newer and can test the product.
We are not seeking app development, bulk directory submissions, purchased followers or votes, spam outreach, or guaranteed Product Hunt rankings. Identify yourself accurately, disclose paid relationships where applicable, and send/publish only after approval. We provide approved product facts and assets; source-code or billing access is not required.
INCLUDE IN YOUR APPLICATION
1. Two relevant campaigns: product, audience, your role, links to actual work, and results with clear definitions. Redacted evidence is welcome.
2. The three channels you would prioritize for AITerm and why.
3. Whether you bring your own audience, publication relationships, outreach execution, or a combination. Include evidence.
4. Your Mac model/macOS version and comfort using command-line tools.
5. Confirmation that you can deliver the proposed scope for $900, or an itemized alternative, plus your availability.
We will select based on product understanding and credible distribution experience. Please do not create unpaid custom campaign work for the application; the hands-on exercise is paid.
