I’m creating a high-performance, eco-minded surface cleaner that can tackle glass and mirrors, wood furniture, as well as floors and tiles without leaving residue or harming finishes. To get there, I need an organic chemist who can translate my performance goals into a complete, lab-ready formulation.

You will help me:

• Select and justify surfactants, solvents, chelating agents, fragrance systems (if any), preservatives, and pH buffers that work across the three surface groups named above.
• Fine-tune percentages so the formula stays clear on glass yet gentle enough for sealed wood, while still cutting through oily soil on tile and grout.
• Outline the precise mixing order, temperatures, and equipment needed for a 1-litre bench batch that I can scale later.
• Supply a brief stability and performance test protocol (clarity, phase separation, streak test on glass, sheen retention on wood, slip resistance on floors).
• Draft an ingredient disclosure/SDS framework that will ease compliance with REACH and (ideally) EPA Safer Choice criteria.

Green-chemistry insight, cost-effective ingredient swaps, and practical sourcing tips for the US/EU market will weigh heavily in my selection. I’m ready to begin small-scale trials immediately and will share real-time feedback so we can iterate quickly toward a production-ready recipe.
