Code Camp is about to expand its popular after-school and holiday programs, and we are ready to partner with an experienced instructional designer who can take our vision for both Game Development and AI Design and turn it into engaging, age-appropriate courses for primary school students.

You will start from a high-level concept and plan that has been developed, with the detailed learning outcomes to be defined as part of this project. We will lean on your expertise to shape them so they are inspiring, measurable and perfectly pitched for children aged 7-12.

Do not apply unless you have the following skills and experience:
- Formal qualifications in either Computer Science, Game Development, AI, Education or closely related fields
- Hands-on course creation and/or classroom experience

Experience with platforms such as Minecraft Education, Scratch, Unity and Roblox Studio is highly desirable. When you apply, highlight that experience clearly so I can see how you’ve translated complex tech topics into fun, kid-friendly learning.

All work needs to be original, visually engaging and compatible with the creative, fun style our brand is known for.

Key project deliverables:
• A full course map for each program, spanning 1-3 levels showing lesson flow over 10-40 sessions
• Refined learning outcomes that broadly align with Australian STEM curriculum guidelines
• Detailed lesson plans, facilitator guides, video scripts and storyboards, plus supporting delivery materials

This is a flexible project-based assignment spanning 6-12 months with opportunity for ongoing projects.

If you have the skills and creative flair to make tech come alive for kids, plus the instructional design chops to back it up, I’d love to chat.

Timeline:
- 6-12 months.
- 5 modules per week
