I’ve already produced a complete tileset for a 2-D platformer styled after the classic Mega Man X series; what I’m missing is a creative level designer who can turn those tiles into a polished, exploration-friendly forest stage.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Build a full Nature/Forest level that showcases smart enemy placement, secrets, and varied pacing—think tight jumps, vertical climbs, and the occasional hidden upgrade path.
• Use only the art and collision tiles I provide; if you feel an extra prop or two would add clarity, we can discuss minor additions.
• Supply the finished tilemap (or equivalent level file), a quick capture or video walkthrough, and any notes on intended gameplay flow so I can drop it straight into my engine for testing.
There’s no looming deadline, so you’ll have time to iterate and play-test until the stage feels just right.
When you respond, please link to past work on similar pixel-art platformers so I can get a feel for your style. Thanks, and I’m looking forward to seeing how you bring this forest zone to life!
