Dental Patient Phone Support Assistant

I want to put a friendly voice on the line for every patient who calls outside of our front-desk hours—or when the team is busy—so no one is left waiting. The assistant’s single focus will be to handle routine enquiries: explain our service offerings, outline our clinic hours, and clarify dentist availability, accepted insurance plans, and payment options. All of the reference material will be entered directly into the assistant by me, so the build must allow quick edits whenever something changes.
I’m looking for a turnkey solution that can:
• Answer inbound calls automatically, in natural-sounding English, and deliver the information above with confidence.
• Pull every response from the data I supply (no web-scraping or third-party look-ups).
• Let me update that data through a simple interface—spreadsheet upload, web form, or similar.
• Transfer or escalate a call if the patient has an urgent clinical need we haven’t scripted.
• Log each interaction so my staff can review questions that came in and update content when patterns emerge.
Acceptance criteria:
1. A live demonstration number I can dial to hear the assistant handle at least five sample scenarios.
2. Clear, step-by-step instructions (video or PDF) showing how I update hours, services, insurance notes, and payment details.
3. Final hand-off of source files, credentials, and any licensing information so the system remains fully under my control.
If you have experience with Twilio Voice, Dialogflow, Amazon Connect, or a comparable telephony/AI stack, please outline what you would use and share one similar project you’ve completed. I’m ready to move quickly once I see a solid plan.
