I need a mechanical concept that reliably flips small, curved or uneven glass pieces—anywhere from 1 mm to 15 mm thick—so one predefined side always exits facing up. The only powered motion available is the vibration that drives the parts forward; the actual turning must happen passively, triggered by each object’s own notch, edge, or symmetric shape.

Your task is to map out a gentle, scratch-free path that exploits geometry, gravity, ramps, rails, or similar purely mechanical features in a compact size. Please supply:

• An explanation of the principle that forces the part to rotate while it travels, without using additional actuators or sensors.
• Sketches or CAD layouts of the feed path, highlighting any soft contact surfaces and clearances needed to protect delicate glass.
• Notes on materials, tolerances, and vibration parameters (vibration is for conveying only, not for turning).
• Suggestions for scaling or adapting the same approach to future shapes or size ranges.

Acceptance criteria: at least 98 % of parts leave with the correct face up at 60 parts/min and show no visible damage.

Experience with vibratory feeders, precision handling of fragile materials, or similar orienting devices will be valuable context to share alongside your concept.
