I have a small quiz app built with plain JavaScript (HTML, CSS, and JS). There is no database; it runs entirely in the browser. I originally followed a YouTube tutorial and then replaced the questions with my own. It mostly works, but there are three problems:
1. At the end, my score is too high. The score increases even when I answer incorrectly.
2. The quiz sometimes skips a question, and the “Question 2 of 5” counter is incorrect.
3. When I click Restart / Play Again, the score does not reset to zero; it keeps the previous points.
The files are only on my Windows 11 laptop. I don’t really use GitHub. The project is roughly 300–400 lines in total. I need this completed within 1–2 days.
In your bid, please tell me what you think is causing problem number 1.
