DBKraft Oracle QA Testing

Desktop development & administration tool for Oracle, Want it battle-tested against real databases before release. You will install the latest build, connect it to your own Oracle environments, and push every screen, wizard, and command to its limits.

Your background should include day-to-day work with Oracle 19c, 21c, and the newer 23ai / 26ai releases, plus solid SQL / PLSQL skills gained through tools such as PL/SQL Developer or SQL Developer. Familiarity with performance tuning and odd edge-case scenarios is a big plus because I need to know how the tool behaves under stress, unusual object definitions, and heavy data volumes.

A detailed test plan with starter test cases will be in your hands on day one, yet you are encouraged to add exploratory scenarios whenever you spot a potential blind spot. Throughout the process capture every issue—whether functional, performance-related, or usability-oriented—with clear reproduction steps, screenshots or short videos, and any relevant trace output or session settings.

Deliverables – all in a single handover package:
• Defect log (severity, steps, media links)
• Consolidated feedback report highlighting usability notes and enhancement suggestions
• Confirmation sheet mapping executed test cases to pass/fail status

When you respond, keep it simple: outline the Oracle versions you can spin up immediately and the highlights of your previous database testing or DBA experience. That information alone will tell me everything I need to decide.
