Pay Range: $90K - $115K/Yr Base + Annual Bonus

We are looking for a Data Steward to drive data governance, data quality, and business metadata management initiatives across the enterprise. The role will partner closely with business stakeholders, data owners, and technology teams to ensure critical insurance data assets are properly governed, documented, monitored, and continuously improved.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of P&C Insurance data domains and a passion for improving data quality and business transparency.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and business metadata repositories.

Define, document, and maintain business glossaries and data definitions.

Establish and monitor data quality rules and controls.

Develop and publish data quality dashboards and reporting.

Analyze data quality issues and coordinate remediation efforts.

Monitor ongoing data quality trends and identify root causes.

Partner with business users to understand data requirements and governance needs.

Support governance forums, working groups, and stewardship activities.

Ensure adherence to enterprise data standards and governance policies.

Assist with regulatory, audit, and compliance reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.

5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Stewardship, or Data Quality Management.

Strong experience with:
Data Quality Rule Management

Data Quality Reporting

Business Metadata Documentation

Critical Data Elements (CDEs)

Experience using Data Governance tools such as Collibra.

Experience within Property & Casualty Insurance.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting underwriting, claims, policy administration, or actuarial data domains.

Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Experience with SQL and BI reporting tools.
