Data Organization & Cleaning Support

I have a mixed set of Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and plain-text files that need to be brought under one clean, excel data cleaning,consistent structure. The work is equal parts data entry, careful typing, and data cleaning: transferring scattered values into the right columns, fixing obvious errors, standardising formats, and ensuring every sheet or document lines up with the same headings and conventions.

My end goal is simple—when you hand the files back, I want to be able to open any spreadsheet or document and know that the information is complete, accurate, and ready for analysis. You’ll be working mainly inside Excel and Word, so solid command of formulas, filtering, and basic text-processing tricks is important.

Deliverables I expect:
• A master Excel workbook where all records are neatly organised and de-duplicated.
• Cleaned Word or text files, free of stray characters and spelling issues, aligned to the same naming and date formats used in the spreadsheet.
• A brief change log (a few lines per file) noting any major corrections or assumptions.
