About The Role:
As a Data Intelligence Associate at VentureWell, you will play a key role in data collection and outcomes tracking to help mission-inspired leaders visualize the impact of their programs on entrepreneurship and innovation in science and technology. We are looking for a colleague who finds joy in being detail-oriented and developing data products that are useful and accurate.
To be successful in this role you must enjoy working with data sets, collaborating with colleagues on projects, and solving data-related issues. This role is an integral part of a fast-paced team that delivers several data products for ongoing program implementation and refinement. The new Data Intelligence Associate will report to a Data Intelligence Analyst.
Responsibilities:
Program Data Management (80% of time)
Follow and implement data cleaning and updating protocols
Monitor and review data for integrity across various systems
Prepare data for analysis
Input information into databases and systems to maintain records
Verify information with external sources; ensure data accuracy/quality control
Resolve issues that occur routinely in the process of multiple-year data collections (i.e., the "real world" problems related to data collection)
Identify trends in data quality issues and share insights with colleagues
Assist in developing data visualizations for reporting
Support configuration of forms and tools for data collection
Program Data Support (20% of time)
Participate in stakeholder and team meetings
Participate in routine project platform maintenance activities
Produce documentation about processes, data collection methods, and other decision points as needed
What You Bring:
Relevant experience with data management and use
Strong attention to detail
Strong independent task management in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work across multiple programs, reprioritize as timelines shift, and check in proactively
High degree of digital fluency using cloud-based office tools such as GSuite, CRMs, team collaboration/communication tools, and other web-based applications; ability to incorporate these tools into day-to-day work
Experience manipulating data in R (e.g., coding data, analyzing data, creating tables)
Knowledge of basic statistics (descriptive)
Experience developing forms and online survey tools
Dynamic learner who adopts new tools and work processes quickly and solves problems creatively and autonomously

a salary range of $64,000 - $76,000 commensurate with experience and internal equity
403 (b) with 200% match up to a maximum contribution from VentureWell of 10% when the employee puts in 5% (eligible after one year of service for the match)
