The Carelon Value-Based Care (CVBC) platform is a healthcare application that integrates member, provider, financial, and scorecard data to support value-based care. It uses ETL pipelines to process scheduled and manual requests, synchronize data across systems, perform payment calculations, and generate performance reports while ensuring data accuracy and efficient production processing.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Provided L2 production support for healthcare data processing applications.
• Monitored daily ETL jobs, schedulers, and batch processes to ensure timely completion.
• Investigated production incidents related to member, financial, scorecard, and payment processing.
• Performed data analysis using SQL to identify missing, duplicate, or incorrect records.
• Supported manual rerun requests for failed production jobs after business approval.
• Validated request creation, processing status, and downstream data movement across systems.
• Monitored application logs and job execution history to identify recurring issues.
• Created RCA documents for production incidents and implemented preventive measures.
• Supported quarterly payment processing and validated financial calculation outputs.
• Assisted deployment teams during production releases and performed post-release validation.
