Intertek Business Assurance business line provides a full range of business process audit and support services, including accredited third-party management systems auditing and certification, second-party supplier auditing, sustainability data verification, process performance analysis, and IRCA-registered auditor training.

The opportunity has now arisen for a Data and BI Analyst to join our fast-growing team and help us shape the future of our company.
The job might occasionally require meetings during uncomfortable hours to meet with stakeholders.
Objectives of this role:

Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets

Create reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization

Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, present deliverables and findings, and build important relationships

Key responsibilities:

Work closely with managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers

Proactively analyse data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity

Create and maintain interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from several data sources

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics or equivalent experience

1+ years of experience in a similar role

Proven analytical skills

Knowledge in Python, R, SAS or similar is a plus

Hands-on experience with data modelling

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Passionate about technology, process and people

Desire and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Strong teamwork & interpersonal skills

Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation

Desire to learn and improve

Understanding and experience of data analytics and business intelligence visualization tools e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Tibco Spotfire

Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Very good Microsoft Office knowledge

Business knowledge of 3rd or 2nd party supplier audits and related processes a strong plus
