Dark Dramatic Band Photography

I need a set of striking, dark-toned portraits that capture the intensity of my band and translate perfectly to streaming platforms and our social channels. The visual direction should feel cinematic—deep shadows, controlled highlights, and a punch of contrast that stops the scroll within seconds.

Scope of work
• Pre-production guidance on wardrobe, lighting references, and location or studio setup
• On-site (or remote composite) photo shoot with dramatic lighting techniques—think single-source, low-key, rim light, gels if it helps the mood
• High-end retouching: skin cleanup that stays natural, color grading for a cohesive series, and creative dodge & burn for depth
• Delivery of finished, ready-to-upload files optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Music, Spotify, and similar platforms (RGB, 3000 px minimum on the longest side, sRGB color profile). Include layered PSDs or RAW + XMP so we can revisit tweaks later.

Acceptance criteria
1. A minimum of 8 unique final images, each consistent in tone and grade.
2. No noticeable banding, artifacting, or over-smoothing when viewed at 100 %.
3. Turnaround time: proofs within 5 days of the shoot; finals within 3 days of my selections.
4. All images cleared for unlimited digital usage.

Please mention the camera system and lighting gear you prefer (e.g., Sony A7R IV with Godox strobes, Canon R5 and Profoto kit, etc.) so I know what latitude we’ll have in post. If you have previous examples of moody band or artist shoots, drop a link.
