Daily Excel Sales Entry Assistant

I keep my sales records in a Microsoft Excel workbook and need someone reliable to add the day’s sales amount to the correct tab every evening. The file is already set up with clear date rows; you’ll simply open the spreadsheet, locate today’s row, type in the total sales figure I provide, and save the file back to our shared folder.

Accuracy matters more than speed, but the update must be completed the same day you receive the number so my dashboards stay current. A quick double-check before saving is all it usually takes to prevent slip-ups. If you know your way around basic Excel functions—filters, sum checks, and the like—you’ll have no trouble.

Deliverable
• Updated Excel sheet reflecting each calendar day’s sales amount, saved by 9 PM my local time.

That’s the whole task, repeated daily. Once we’re both comfortable with the workflow, I’m happy to set this up as an ongoing engagement.
