Daily Automated Customer Data Entry

I need a reliable workflow that takes the spreadsheets my team exports each evening and feeds the information straight into our live customer database before the next business day begins. The sheets always contain three kinds of records—customer contact information, purchase history, and any new or updated support tickets—so the automation must map every column correctly and ignore blank rows.

Source format is always Excel (.xlsx). As soon as a file drops into a designated folder, I want the script to validate it, import the data, flag duplicates or conflicts, and generate a short log I can review in the morning. The whole cycle has to run automatically every single day without someone triggering it manually.

Deliverables:
• A working script or low-code workflow (Python, Power Automate, Zapier, or similar) that pulls the daily Excel file and inserts/updates records in the database I specify (MySQL).
• Clear configuration file or variables to change field names if the sheet layout changes.
• Error-handling and a concise log/report saved to a “logs” folder and optionally emailed to me.
• Brief setup guide so I can redeploy it on another server if needed.

I’ll provide a sample spreadsheet, database schema, and test server credentials once we start. Completion is confirmed when the job runs unattended for two consecutive days without data loss or mismatches.
