I need a hand-crafted illustration that convincingly mimics a 19th-century daguerreotype for my upcoming book launch. The image will headline our social-media campaign.

You may work digitally or traditionally, but please keep every stroke your own—no AI generation, texture packs, or filter shortcuts. I’m happy to see digital painting, charcoal, ink wash, or mixed media as long as the final effect reads as a true daguerreotype (slight lens aberration, shallow depth, plate borders, subtle scratches).

Deliverables
- Main artwork: 3000 px minimum width at 300 dpi, flattened JPG and layered PSD/TIFF.
- Square crop optimised for Instagram/Facebook/X.
- Brief process note confirming the piece is entirely human-made.

Acceptance criteria: authentic daguerreotype look, warm nostalgic mood, clear character details, and readiness for social posting. Rough composition is needed within five days, with the polished final a week later. If you have period-style samples, send them along and mention how many revisions you include.
