We are looking for a Business Development Partner to expand our footprint in the Technology space, with a strong focus on Cybersecurity.
This is a performance-driven, commission-based partnership for individuals or organizations with the ability to identify, develop, and convert B2B opportunities into actual business. We are particularly interested in partners who are comfortable with a compensation model that is primarily tied to successful commercial outcomes, deals closed, and revenue generated.
Our Offerings
The mandate covers the full spectrum of our technology and cybersecurity offerings, including:
Cybersecurity software and technology solutions
Hardware and security products
Cybersecurity and IT consulting services
Cybersecurity assessments, audits, and implementation services
Cybersecurity training, workshops, labs, and CTF programs
Corporate security awareness and capability-building programs
Cybersecurity talent and resource provisioning
Contractual and managed cybersecurity resources
Customized cybersecurity solutions and engagements
Technology and cybersecurity partnerships
Target Market
Our target market spans:
Small and medium-sized businesses
Mid-sized and large enterprises
Startups and technology companies
Educational institutions
Government and institutional organizations
Organizations seeking cybersecurity talent, training, consulting, or technology solutions
Role & Objective
The primary objective of this engagement is to generate business and revenue across our Technology, Cybersecurity, Training, and Resource Provisioning offerings.
The Business Development Partner will own the commercial journey from prospecting to closure—identifying relevant organizations, reaching decision-makers, understanding their business and cybersecurity requirements, positioning the appropriate solution or service, managing discussions and negotiations, and driving opportunities through to signed agreements, purchase orders, placements, and revenue realization.
This includes identifying opportunities not only for conventional technology and cybersecurity projects, but also for:
Employee and corporate cybersecurity training
Technical cybersecurity training and upskilling
Workshops, bootcamps, CTFs, and hands-on cyber labs
Cybersecurity awareness programs
Cybersecurity talent and resource requirements
Dedicated or contract-based cybersecurity professionals
Security consulting and implementation projects
Technology, software, and hardware procurement
Long-term cybersecurity partnerships
Managed and recurring cybersecurity engagements
Business Development Responsibilities
The Business Development Partner will be responsible for:
Identifying and developing prospective accounts across relevant market segments
Building and continuously maintaining a qualified sales pipeline
Identifying client requirements across cybersecurity, technology, training, and resource provisioning
Mapping client requirements to appropriate offerings
Identifying and engaging relevant decision-makers, including CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, IT Directors, HR/L&D leaders, procurement teams, founders, and business heads
Conducting targeted prospecting and outreach
Initiating and managing business conversations
Coordinating discovery calls, solution discussions, proposals, and commercial negotiations
Managing follow-ups and stakeholder relationships throughout the sales cycle
Driving opportunities through to signed agreements and commercial closure
Supporting account expansion, cross-selling, and recurring business
Maintaining accurate opportunity information, including requirements, stakeholders, estimated value, stage, next action, and expected closure date
Providing regular pipeline and business-development reports
The partner is expected to leverage modern business-development channels and tools such as:
LinkedIn Sales Navigator
CRM platforms
Targeted email and LinkedIn outreach
Referrals and professional networks
Industry events and networking
Strategic partnerships
Discovery calls
Account-based prospecting
Existing professional and enterprise relationships
Performance & Success Criteria
Success will be measured primarily by business generated and revenue delivered—not by activity volume.
Performance will be evaluated based on:
Deals and contracts successfully closed
Revenue generated and realized
Total contract/deal value
New clients acquired
Training and cybersecurity programs successfully sold
Cybersecurity resources successfully placed/provided
Technology, software, and hardware opportunities successfully converted
Recurring and repeat business generated
Conversion rate from qualified opportunities to paying clients
Overall contribution to the company's commercial growth
Lead generation, outreach volume, meetings, proposals, and pipeline size are supporting indicators only. They do not, by themselves, constitute successful performance.
A large pipeline with no closures is not considered success.
Commission-Based Compensation
This engagement is structured around a commission-based compensation model, with compensation directly linked to successful commercial outcomes.
We are specifically looking for individuals or organizations who are comfortable working on a performance-based commission structure, where earnings are driven by the business they successfully generate and close.
The commission structure may vary depending on factors such as:
Type of engagement
Deal value
Gross commercial value
Revenue realization
One-time vs. recurring engagements
Software/hardware sales
Consulting projects
Training and cybersecurity programs
Resource/talent placements
Managed or long-term engagements
The objective is to create a mutually beneficial commercial relationship: the stronger the business generated and revenue delivered, the greater the partner's earning potential.
Commission terms, applicable percentages, payment triggers, and engagement-specific commercial arrangements will be mutually agreed upon before commencing the engagement.
What Qualifies as a Successful Outcome
A successful outcome may take several forms, including:
A signed cybersecurity consulting engagement
A software or hardware sale
A cybersecurity assessment or implementation project
A corporate cybersecurity training engagement
A workshop, bootcamp, CTF, or cyber-lab engagement
A cybersecurity awareness program
Provision of cybersecurity professionals/resources
A recurring resource or managed-service engagement
A strategic technology or cybersecurity partnership resulting in commercial business
The common denominator is commercial conversion.
The opportunity should result in a signed engagement, purchase order, contract, placement, recurring commitment, or other agreed commercial commitment.
Ideal Partner Profile
We are particularly interested in individuals or organizations with demonstrated experience in:
B2B technology sales
Cybersecurity sales
IT consulting sales
Enterprise business development
Technology/software sales
Cybersecurity training and education sales
Staffing and resource provisioning
IT services sales
Strategic partnerships and channel development
Experience selling to CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, IT Directors, HR/L&D teams, procurement teams, founders, and enterprise decision-makers will be highly valuable.
The ideal partner should be capable of:
Translating technical capabilities into business outcomes and commercial value
Identifying genuine business opportunities
Building relationships with decision-makers
Managing B2B and enterprise sales cycles
Handling objections and commercial negotiations
Positioning solutions based on client requirements
Developing new accounts and strategic relationships
Working independently and taking ownership of opportunities
Converting opportunities into actual business
Demonstrable Results Matter
Candidates and partners with a demonstrable track record should highlight actual commercial results, such as:
Clients acquired
Deal values
Revenue generated
Sales targets achieved
Resources placed
Training engagements closed
Enterprise accounts developed
Average sales-cycle duration
Recurring business generated
Relevant partnerships established
We value commercial outcomes over activity metrics.
We are not looking for someone whose primary output is a spreadsheet full of leads.
We are looking for a Business Development Partner who can turn market opportunities into clients, contracts, placements, partnerships, and revenue—and who is comfortable having their earning potential directly tied to that performance.
Ultimate KPI
The ultimate KPI is business generated across our Technology, Cybersecurity, Training, and Resource Provisioning offerings.
If you can identify the opportunity, get in front of the right decision-maker, build the business case, and close the deal, we want to work with you.
