We are looking for a Business Development Partner to expand our footprint in the Technology space, with a strong focus on Cybersecurity.

The mandate covers the full spectrum of our offerings, including:

Cybersecurity software and technology solutions
Hardware and security products
Cybersecurity and IT consulting services
Cybersecurity assessments, audits, and implementation services
Cybersecurity training, workshops, labs, and CTF programs
Corporate security awareness and capability-building programs
Cybersecurity talent and resource provisioning
Contractual/managed cybersecurity resources
Customized cybersecurity solutions and engagements

Our target market spans small businesses, mid-sized organizations, educational institutions, startups, and large enterprises.

Role & Objective

The primary objective of this engagement is to generate business and revenue across our cybersecurity and technology offerings.

The Business Development Partner will be responsible for owning the commercial journey from prospecting to closure—identifying relevant organizations, reaching decision-makers, understanding their business and cybersecurity requirements, positioning the appropriate solution or service, managing discussions and negotiations, and driving opportunities through to signed agreements and revenue realization.

This includes identifying opportunities not only for conventional technology and cybersecurity projects, but also for:

Employee and corporate cybersecurity training
Technical cybersecurity training and upskilling
Workshops, bootcamps, CTFs, and hands-on cyber labs
Cybersecurity awareness programs
Cybersecurity talent/resource requirements
Dedicated or contract-based cybersecurity professionals
Security consulting and implementation projects
Technology/software/hardware procurement
Long-term cybersecurity partnerships and managed engagements

The partner is expected to leverage modern business-development channels and tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms, targeted email and LinkedIn outreach, referrals, networking, partnerships, discovery calls, and account-based prospecting.

Deliverables
Identify and develop prospective accounts across relevant market segments.
Build and continuously maintain a visible sales pipeline.
Identify the client's cybersecurity, technology, training, or resource requirements and map them to appropriate offerings.
Initiate conversations with relevant decision-makers, including CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, IT Directors, HR/L&D leaders, procurement teams, founders, and business heads.
Coordinate discovery calls, solution discussions, proposals, commercial negotiations, and follow-ups.
Drive opportunities through to signed agreements and commercial closure.
Maintain detailed opportunity information, including requirements, stakeholders, estimated value, stage, next action, and expected closure date.
Provide regular pipeline and business-development reports.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and recurring engagements after the initial engagement.
Performance & Success Criteria

Success will be measured primarily by business generated and revenue delivered—not by the number of leads, calls, or meetings.

Performance will be evaluated based on:

Deals and contracts successfully closed
Revenue generated and realized
Total contract/deal value
Number of new clients acquired
Training and cybersecurity programs successfully sold
Cybersecurity resources successfully placed/provided
Technology, software, and hardware opportunities successfully converted
Recurring and repeat business generated
Conversion rate from qualified opportunities to paying clients
Overall contribution to the company's commercial growth

Lead generation, outreach volume, meetings, proposals, and pipeline size are supporting indicators only. They do not, by themselves, constitute successful performance.

A large pipeline with no closures is not considered success.

What Qualifies as a Successful Outcome

A successful outcome may take several forms, including:

A signed cybersecurity consulting engagement
A software or hardware sale
A cybersecurity assessment or implementation project
A corporate cybersecurity training engagement
A workshop, bootcamp, CTF, or cyber-lab engagement
A cybersecurity awareness program
Provision of cybersecurity professionals/resources
A recurring resource or managed-service engagement
A strategic technology or cybersecurity partnership resulting in commercial business

The common denominator is commercial conversion—the opportunity should result in a signed engagement, purchase order, contract, placement, or other agreed commercial commitment.

Ideal Partner

We are particularly interested in individuals or organizations with demonstrated experience in B2B technology sales, cybersecurity sales, IT consulting, training, staffing/resource provisioning, or enterprise business development.

Experience selling to CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, IT Directors, HR/L&D teams, procurement teams, founders, and enterprise decision-makers will be highly valuable.

The ideal partner should be capable of translating technical capabilities into business outcomes and commercial value, managing sales cycles, building relationships with decision-makers, negotiating effectively, and most importantly, converting opportunities into business.

Candidates/partners with a demonstrable track record should highlight actual commercial results—clients acquired, deal values, revenue generated, resources placed, training engagements closed, and relevant sales cycles—rather than simply describing sales activities.

Bottom Line

We are not looking for someone whose primary output is a spreadsheet full of leads. We are looking for a business-development partner who can turn market opportunities into clients, contracts, placements, and revenue.

The ultimate KPI is business generated across our Technology, Cybersecurity, Training, and Resource Provisioning offerings.
