We need one vertical short-form clip cut from an hour-long podcast episode, ready to post to TikTok with no further work.
**What you deliver**
- One MP4, 9:16 vertical, 1080x1920, H.264
- Between 30 and 60 seconds
- Burned-in captions: accurate, styled for mobile, never covering faces or mouths
- Clean, normalized audio. No music bed unless it genuinely helps the clip
- Speaker's face stays in frame and is not awkwardly cropped. If two people are talking, reframe or use a split layout
- No watermarks, no third-party logos, no stock footage padding
- Along with the file, one line telling us the timestamp in the source the clip came from
**Where you have freedom, and this is the actual job**
You choose the moment. We are hiring you for taste, not for button-pushing. Watch enough of the episode to find something worth a stranger's attention: a strong hook in the first two seconds, one self-contained idea, an emotional or surprising beat, and an ending that lands rather than fades out mid-thought. The clip has to make sense to someone who has never heard the show.
Cuts, punch-ins, zooms, text emphasis, light b-roll: all welcome if they serve the clip. Skip anything that is just decoration.
**How we judge it**
We will watch it on a phone the way a viewer would. Would we keep watching past two seconds? Are the captions right? Is anything important cropped out? Does it stand alone? That is the whole test. A technically clean clip built around a boring moment does not pass.
