I have a run of ductwork that calls for several different-sized vents and grills, and my beginner-level Fusion 360 skills won’t get me there fast enough. I need a fully parametric master file that lets me open the Parameters panel, change a few values, and instantly generate the exact vent I need for 3D printing.

Scope of the parametric controls
• Core dimensions – width, height, and the depth/diameter of the duct connection.
• Aesthetic and airflow settings – grill pattern style, slat angle, and overall air direction.
• Installation details – mounting style, frame shape, and precise screw-hole placement.

How I’ll work with it
When I have a new opening size or a different look in mind, I just want to edit a clear list of user-defined parameters—no hunting through sketches or features. Once updated, I should be able to export an STL and send it straight to the printer.

Deliverables
• Native Fusion 360 (.f3d) file with clearly named user parameters covering every item above.
• A sample STL generated from the file so I can test print right away.
• Brief text or screen-grab guide showing where to adjust each parameter.

Acceptance
I’ll confirm the model prints correctly at two test sizes and that each parameter change rebuilds without errors. If everything updates cleanly, the job is complete.
