Specialty Networks is an integrated, multi-specialty organization with GPOs, Life Sciences, and Research solutions in Urology, Oncology, Gastroenterology, and Rheumatology. Specialty Networks solutions include population health management, patient engagement, clinical research, and workflow automation technologies to achieve Center of Excellence status in Standards of Care, Clinical Research, Practice Operations, and Value-based Care. Specialty Networks leverages the Power of its Network, represented by over 10,000 providers, to help independent physician practices, industry, wholesalers/distributors, payers, and policymakers improve patient outcomes.
The Customer Success Manager (CSM) supports Cardinal Health’s strategic objectives by nurturing and expanding relationships with existing customers across the full lifecycle of engagements: from initial onboarding through renewal and expansion. This role is focused on driving growth within current accounts, ensuring high client satisfaction, retention, and repeat business. The CSM does not carry responsibility for new customer acquisition but will partner closely with Business Development Directors by supporting relationship continuity and identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
Responsibilities
Serve as a business partner for assigned existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction with delivery of analytics and insights projects
Develop, nurture, and strengthen long-term customer relationships through proactive engagement and consultative partnership
Drive account growth through expansion of existing engagements, identifying opportunities for additional analyses, services, or follow-on work
Own and support client renewal processes, including data subscriptions and ongoing service agreements
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, proactively monitoring client sentiment and addressing issues quickly and effectively to maintain customer retention
Translate data and analytics outputs into actionable business insights and strategic customer recommendations
Act as a cross-functional liaison between clients and internal delivery teams to ensure alignment and successful execution
Partner with Business Development Directors by providing account intelligence, supporting client discussions, and facilitating continuity across engagements
Maintain strong understanding of client goals, pipeline, and evolving needs to proactively identify value-added opportunities
Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and responsiveness
Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with pharmaceutical customers, serving as client managers for existing customers
Provide exceptional customer service across all phases of project execution
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to bring evidence-generation strategies, research concepts, and commercial patient acquisition/adherence ideas to pharmaceutical clients.
Ensure successful delivery and adoption of project outputs, reinforcing value realization for the client
Support renewal conversations and contract continuation efforts by demonstrating impact and ROI
Identify and escalate risks to client satisfaction or retention, and lead resolution efforts
Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, including management of formal business reviews (e.g., QBRs)
What This Role Is NOT Responsible For
Direct ownership of new business development or new client acquisition
Prospecting or cold outreach to generate new logos
Location: This position is remote and can be based anywhere within the United States.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, data science, or related field, or equivalent experience, preferred
Ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings and conferences
3–6 years of experience in healthcare, consulting, analytics, project management, or customer success, preferred
Demonstrated success managing and growing existing client relationships
Experience supporting account expansion, renewals, or customer retention initiatives
Exposure to healthcare data, analytics, or real-world evidence (RWE) preferred
Understanding of Commercial Analytics and RWE/HEOR methodologies, particularly in oncology, immunology, and urology therapy areas
Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and stakeholder relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex analyses into client-ready insights
