Customer Data Cleanup & Entry

I have a set of customer contact lists stored across several Excel/CSV sheets. They need a careful pass to weed out duplicates, standardise name and address fields, and flag or fill any obvious gaps in phone numbers and email addresses. Once you’re done, I want a single, tidy file ready for upload to our CRM.

You’ll be working entirely in Excel (or your preferred tool so long as the final file comes back as a clean .xlsx or .csv). Accuracy matters more than speed: every row should be unique, formatted consistently, and free of blank critical fields. If a value is truly missing, just mark it clearly—please don’t guess.

At hand-off, I’ll quickly spot-check a sample of records to confirm:

• No duplicate customer IDs or identical name/email combinations
• Consistent column headings and data formats (e.g., phone numbers, postcodes)
• All mandatory columns populated or flagged
