Custom Yard Landscape Design Plan

I have just moved into a four-year-old home in Grantsville and need a complete landscape design for both the front and back yards. Before we break ground next year, I’d like a seasoned designer to visit the property, take precise measurements, study the local micro-climate and hard soil conditions, then develop a detailed plan that brings together:

• Fruit-bearing ideas – I’d love to see hardy apple varieties succeed this time. We already have one young peach tree on site, so whatever you suggest should complement it.
• Shade and ornamental trees, bushes, and groundcovers suited to our notoriously dense soil.
• A dedicated shade zone designed primarily as a relaxation spot where we can read or nap outdoors.

I’m wide open on overall style; please guide me on what will thrive here and look cohesive over the long term. The finished package should include scaled drawings (PDF or CAD), a planting schedule with quantities and recommended cultivars, soil-amendment notes, irrigation/drainage recommendations, and a brief presentation I can share with my spouse. We also want a garden area. After the design is approved, we would like it installed and trust either you or a recommendation can do so for us.

Because we’re waiting for the sale of our previous home, construction won’t start until next season, so you will have the rest of this year for site visits, concept iterations, and final documentation.
