I run a busy WooCommerce shop and need a developer who can slot straight into our workflow for regular, long-term work. Day to day you’ll be tackling three main areas for me: fine-tuning the theme, configuring and extending plugins, and writing lightweight code snippets that make the store run smarter.

Here’s what the work typically looks like:

• Theme customizations – from pixel-perfect design integration to performance-minded layout tweaks and UX refinements.
• Plugin configuration – selecting, setting up, or extending plugins so they stay lean and play nicely with the theme.
• Custom code – short, well-documented functions that hook into WooCommerce the native way (actions, filters, template overrides) without bloating the stack.

Technical expectations
– Fluent in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
– Comfortable working in a child theme or custom plugin architecture.
– No reliance on heavy visual builders; you should know your way around WordPress core and WooCommerce hooks.
– Code must be secure, follow best practices, and withstand review by our Chief Architect on staging before deployment.

This is an ongoing arrangement with a steady queue of small to mid-sized tasks. If performance optimization, design fidelity, and UX polish are as important to you as they are to me, let’s talk.
