Custom Wordmark / Lettering Designer for a Premium Lifestyle Brand

We are looking for a talented **lettering / brand identity designer** to develop a distinctive custom wordmark for a new lifestyle brand.

At this stage, the brand name and full concept will be shared privately with selected candidates.

## What we are looking for

The main focus of this project is **custom lettering / wordmark design**.

We are NOT looking for a generic logo created by simply combining an existing font with an icon.

We want typography that feels genuinely designed and gives the brand its own recognizable personality.

The final wordmark should feel:

* Modern and contemporary
* Premium
* Young and fresh
* Clean and relatively minimal
* Slightly playful, but not childish
* Distinctive and memorable
* Strong enough to become a recognizable brand asset
* Suitable for both packaging and digital use

The brand will use different colors across its product range, so the wordmark needs to work well in **multiple colors as well as monochrome**.

## Creative direction

We appreciate brands that achieve recognition through **simple, intelligent and distinctive design details** rather than complicated graphics.

We already have some preliminary concepts and visual experiments.

These will be shared privately with shortlisted designers as references, but they should **not be treated as finished designs to reproduce**.

We want someone capable of looking at our ideas critically and developing them into something considerably stronger.

**Creative input is welcome.**

## What we DON'T want

Please avoid:

* Generic premade logos
* Stock icons
* An existing font with a simple icon added to it
* Generic wellness aesthetics
* Medical/pharmaceutical aesthetics
* Overly corporate branding
* Overly complicated illustrations
* Designs that look obviously AI-generated

We are looking for something that could belong to a **real contemporary consumer brand**.

## Deliverables

For the final approved design, we will require:

* Original vector artwork
* AI and/or EPS source file
* SVG
* PDF
* High-resolution PNG
* Black version
* White/reversed version
* Color-ready version
* Files suitable for professional packaging and printing

The final artwork must be original and suitable for full commercial use, with the agreed intellectual property rights transferred upon completion.

## To apply

We are particularly interested in seeing work where you created or substantially customized the letterforms rather than simply selecting a typeface.

A short explanation of your design process would also be appreciated.

**Please do not create speculative work for this project at this stage.**

We will shortlist candidates based primarily on the quality and originality of their existing portfolio. The complete brand name, concept and visual references will then be shared privately with selected designers.
