I need a precise CAD model of a custom-shaped rubber seal that fits the door of a vacuum chamber. The existing seal is worn but available for measurements and photos; its geometry is fairly intricate, with multiple lips and a stepped profile that has to maintain vacuum integrity once molded.
Here’s what I expect:
• 3D CAD file (STEP or SolidWorks native preferred) accurate to the original part, including cross-section details suitable for extrusion‐mold tooling.
• A fully dimensioned 2D drawing showing all critical tolerances and material call-outs so my manufacturer can quote and cut tooling without further clarification.
• Short design note explaining draft angles, parting lines, and any recommended radii to aid de-molding.
I’ll provide high-resolution photos, and the physical seal shipped to you for reverse engineering. Experience with rubber component design, tolerance stack-ups, and vacuum service considerations is essential.
Deliverables will be reviewed against the physical part; dimensions must sit within ±0.1 mm on critical sealing edges. Once approved, I’ll release final payment and can offer follow-on work for other chamber components.
