I’m migrating my current AMB82-mini daughter-board solution to a single, production-ready PCB built around Realtek’s RTL8735BDM module. You’ll have the original AMB82-mini schematic and layout in PADS binary as a starting point; the goal is to recreate and extend that design in Altium Designer.
Essential upgrades
• Integrate a DS3231 RTC
• Add a LiFePO₄-compatible battery gauge with coulomb counting
• Provide a full-size SD-card slot
• Break out USB and SPI/I²C headers for easy access during development and in-field updates
What I expect as a turnkey hand-off
• Altium schematic and multilayer PCB layout
• Optimised stack-up, impedance-controlled traces where needed
• Manufacturing package: Gerbers, drill files, pick-and-place, 3D step, fabrication & assembly drawings
• Verified BOM with second-source components and current availability
• Brief design report covering key decisions and test points
Acceptance criteria
• All added features operate from the same power domain without disrupting Wi-Fi/BT performance of the RTL8735BDM
• Board passes basic ERC/DRC in Altium and conforms to standard PCB house specs (6/8-layer, 4 mil/4 mil minimum)
• USB, SPI and I²C lines show clean signal integrity in the layout review
• Deliverables import directly into Altium without missing libraries
I’m looking for someone with a strong embedded background, proven multilayer experience and a track record of 5-star projects who can steer this design all the way to a build-ready status. If that’s you, let’s get started.
