Custom Professional Portfolio Website

I’m ready to launch a polished, professional portfolio and I want it built entirely with custom HTML 5 and CSS 3 (no WordPress or Wix themes). The site’s core purpose is to present my blog posts in a clean, responsive layout that feels authoritative and easy to navigate on both desktop and mobile.

Here’s what I need:
• A home page that introduces the portfolio’s focus and funnels visitors straight to the blog section.
• A blog index and single-post template styled for readability, including code highlighting ready for technical articles.
• Lightweight JavaScript for smooth navigation effects and a collapsible mobile menu—please keep dependencies minimal.
• Reusable, well-commented CSS so I can expand later with an About or Work Samples section without starting from scratch.
• Deployment-ready files plus a brief README explaining folder structure and how to add new posts.

Acceptance criteria:
1. Pages validate against W3C standards and score 90+ on Google Lighthouse performance and accessibility.
2. Looks consistent in the latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
3. Delivered as a zipped project folder I can drop onto my own hosting.
