I am looking for an experienced Electronic Engineering Freelancer to design a custom, compact, all-in-one PCB for a premium adult collectible display base. The board will be manufactured using standard Turnkey PCBA (automated assembly), so the design must utilize readily available components from standard libraries (such as JLCPCB / LCSC component libraries).
Core System Requirements:
1. Microcontroller Core: Integrated ATmega328P-AU (TQFP-32 surface mount package) with a 16MHz crystal oscillator and supporting circuitry. Programming/power interface must be a surface-mount USB Type-C port linked via a CH340G/C serial converter chip.
2. Power Architecture: Direct 5V DC power delivery completely driven over the Type-C USB interface (bypassing battery circuitry entirely). Must include a surface-mount PPTC resettable fuse (5V 2.0A or 2.5A) to safely handle concurrent current spikes.
3. Off-Board LED Interface: A 3-Pin JST-XH (2.54mm pitch) male header output socket labeled 5V, GND, and DATA. The DATA line trace must route directly to Digital Pin 6 of the microcontroller, featuring a surface-mount 330Ω to 470Ω inline protection resistor.
4. Infrared (IR) Remote Control Assembly: Footprint layout for an integrated TSOP38238 (or VS1838B) 38KHz IR receiver diode placed directly at the PCB's accessible outer edge. The Data Out line must route to Digital Pin 11 of the microcontroller core.
5. Dual-Channel Ultrasonic Mist Driver Circuit: Integrated 108KHz ultrasonic atomizer driver circuit layout to run two independent ceramic piezoelectric discs.
• Bypass Requirement: The standard manual tactile push-button must be replaced/bypassed using an automated transistor circuit switch (e.g., NPN BC547, 2N2222, or a small logic-level MOSFET) connected straight to Digital Pin 2 of the microcontroller.
• Output Interface: Two separate 2-Pin JST-XH (2.54mm pitch) header sockets at the board edge to plug in the atomizing discs.
Design Shortcut Note:
You do not need to design the ATmega328P/Arduino Nano core from scratch. You are highly encouraged to base the foundation layout on open-source, factory-verified reference hardware templates (such as OSHWLab/EasyEDA projects). Your primary custom design layout task involves cleanly integrating the 108KHz dual-mist circuit block and mapping out the transistor switch automation logic.
Final Deliverables Required:
A complete, verified Turnkey PCBA Production Package containing:
• Extended Gerber Files (.zip format containing all board manufacturing layers and drill paths).
• Bill of Materials (BOM spreadsheet with verified standard LCSC part numbers).
• Component Placement List (CPL / Centroid coordinate file for automated pick-and-place robotics).
