Custom Outdoor Lighting Design

I’m ready to transform the exterior of my property with a cohesive lighting scheme and need an experienced designer-installer to guide the entire process. The project covers the front driveway, surrounding garden beds, and a walk-out patio, so I’m looking for a balanced mix of practical pathway or security illumination and more decorative accents that show off the landscaping.

I’m open to technology choices—hard-wired, solar fixtures, motion sensors, even smartphone-controlled systems—so long as the final solution is energy-efficient, reliable in all weather, and easy to maintain. You’ll advise on fixture selection, light levels, beam angles, and where to position transformers, cabling, or solar panels. Local code compliance and safe installation practices are non-negotiable.

Deliverables
• Scaled lighting layout (PDF or DWG) with fixture locations and circuits
• Fixture schedule listing model numbers, lamp types, lumen output, and IP ratings
• Wiring and switching diagram showing loads and control zones (motion, timers, smart hub, etc.)
• Itemised bill of materials with current pricing and supplier links
• Post-installation aiming and adjustment guidelines

Acceptance criteria: the plan must achieve even coverage on walkways (≈10 lux), deter dark corners near entrances, highlight at least three architectural or landscape features, and keep total load within a single 20 A exterior circuit—unless you justify an alternative.

If you’re able to handle or oversee the physical installation, let me know your availability; otherwise, clear instructions for a licensed electrician are fine.
