I'm looking for a PCB designer to create a KiCad PCB for a custom ESP32-based IoT device. The device will need to connect via Wi-Fi and will be powered through a mains connection.
Key Requirements:
- KiCad PCB design
- Integration of ESP32 with Wi-Fi connectivity
- USB connection
- I2S microphone INMP441 (on board, careful with the recording opening)
- TFT screen (2.4-inch SPI TFT module with ILI9341, not onboard, connected by cable )
- I2S speaker NS4168 (on board, screw terminal for speakers)
- 1 rotary encoder (not onboard, connections to solder)
- 2 buttons (not onboard, connections to solder)
- 1 status LED WS2812B
- Mains power source design
Pin map:
| Device signal | ESP32-S2 GPIO | Notes |
|---|---:|---|
| TFT SCLK | GPIO7 | SPI clock |
| TFT MOSI/SDA | GPIO11 | SPI data to TFT |
| TFT MISO/SDO | GPIO9 | Optional for display reads/touch/SD |
| TFT CS | GPIO10 | Display chip select |
| TFT DC/RS | GPIO12 | Data/command |
| TFT RESET | GPIO13 | Display reset |
| TFT LED/BL | GPIO14 | Use a transistor if the TFT backlight current is high |
| Encoder A | GPIO4 | `INPUT_PULLUP` |
| Encoder B | GPIO5 | `INPUT_PULLUP` |
| Encoder switch | GPIO6 | Switch to GND |
| Record button | GPIO15 | Button to GND |
| Play button | GPIO16 | Button to GND |
| Status NeoPixel DIN | GPIO17 | Use a 330-470 ohm series resistor |
| I2S BCLK | GPIO18 | Shared by mic and amplifier |
| I2S LRCLK/WS | GPIO8 | Shared by mic and amplifier |
| NS4168 DIN | GPIO21 | ESP32 I2S DOUT |
| INMP441 SD | GPIO3 | ESP32 I2S DIN |
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in KiCad
- Experience with ESP32 and IoT devices
Looking for reliable work and adivce for a hobby project.
My prototype works well but I need a PCB
