Custom E-commerce Site & App

I need a complete e-commerce presence built from the ground up—a responsive marketing website paired with a fully-featured web application. The platform must be custom-built rather than Shopify or WooCommerce so that I can keep full control over the tech stack, integrate bespoke business logic, and scale without template constraints.

Core features to implement: a browsable product catalog with fast, intuitive search; a secure shopping cart that flows smoothly into checkout; and a section where customers can leave ratings and reviews that surface intelligently on product pages. I will supply brand guidelines, product data, and preferred payment gateway credentials as soon as we start.

Please architect the back-end and front-end, handle database design, and deliver clean, well-commented code. I expect modern best practices—RESTful (or GraphQL) APIs, responsive UI, and protection against common security issues. On completion I’ll need deployment instructions and a short hand-over session so my internal team can manage routine updates.
