Custom Basement Apartment Layout Design

I’m turning my unfinished basement into a comfortable apartment for visiting family and friends and need a clear, builder-ready layout. The space must accommodate:

• 2 comfortable bedrooms
• Living room for relaxed gatherings
• Dining area that fits a standard table
• At least one well-placed bathroom

I’ll share the existing basement dimensions, window locations, and mechanical constraints as soon as we start. From there, I’m looking for a practical floor-plan that optimizes natural light, respects code-required egress, and keeps plumbing runs efficient. A simple 3-D view or colored 2-D rendering would be helpful for visualizing flow, but the key deliverable is a dimensioned plan my contractor can follow.
