I’m looking for a fabricator or metal-work specialist who can build a heavy-duty, steel front bumper that will give my 4x4 true off-road protection while also housing the gear I rely on when trails get rough.
Core purpose
The bumper’s main job is rugged, off-road protection; strength and smart approach-angle design are non-negotiable.
Integrated features required
• Winch mount strong enough for a full-size recovery winch
• Light mounts positioned for both fog and driving lights
• D-ring shackle mounts welded through the main structure for safe recoveries
Scope of work
– Confirm final vehicle measurements with me so the bumper hugs the body lines and clears suspension and radiator components.
– Produce a detailed design (2D drawings or 3D CAD) that shows material thickness, bend lines, and weld call-outs.
– Cut, form, and weld the bumper in steel, then prep it for paint or powder coat.
– Ship or arrange pickup once we’ve checked photos against the approved drawings.
Acceptance criteria
The finished bumper must bolt straight to factory frame points, hold the specified winch without flex, and allow me to wire lights and attach shackles immediately—no extra drilling or grinding on my end.
If you’ve built similar off-road bumpers, share a couple of photos or drawings so I can see your workmanship and design approach, and let’s get started.
