I have a concrete culvert that serves a small-scale, local drainage network and I need a licensed Professional Engineer to run a full hydraulic analysis on it. Your task is to confirm the structure’s capacity under design storms, evaluate inlet and outlet control, and recommend any sizing or headwall adjustments needed to keep velocities and head losses within acceptable limits.
Please base the work on current FHWA and state guidelines, applying standard methods such as Manning’s equation or HEC-RAS where appropriate, and deliver sealed calculations with clear assumptions, flow diagrams, and summary conclusions that I can submit to permitting authorities.
If you have recent experience modelling concrete culverts of similar scale, I’d like to hear how quickly you could turn around the analysis and what information you’ll need from me to get started.
