I’m commissioning a coffee-table book that immerses readers in the human side of travel—stories of the people, traditions, and everyday rituals that shape a place’s identity. The tone I’m after is firmly cultural and story-driven, written for an audience eager to understand heritage rather than simply admire scenery.

Your task is to craft a compelling manuscript that pairs evocative narrative with vivid, caption-ready snippets. Each chapter should spotlight local voices, ceremonies, and day-to-day life, weaving historical context naturally into the storyline without turning it into a textbook. Rich sensory detail, tight pacing, and seamless transitions between anecdotes are key.

I’m open to your recommendations on structure, but envisage a format of roughly 10–12 chapters, each 2,500–3,000 words, supported by short pull quotes and sidebars that can later be laid out alongside photography. If you work in Adobe InDesign or Affinity Publisher and can supply a simple layout mock-up, mention it; otherwise, a clean, fully edited Word or Google Docs file is fine.

Deliverables
• Chapter-by-chapter outline for approval
• First sample chapter to confirm voice and approach
• Complete, professionally edited manuscript with captions and pull-quote suggestions
• Final proof pass after my designer imports text into the chosen layout

I’ll provide an initial destination list and any existing research; you bring the cultural insights, narrative flair, and polished prose worthy of a centerpiece book. Let’s celebrate the world’s living heritage together.
