I’m ready to commission a mobile video editing app inspired by the core, non-AI editing experience of CapCut, built to run smoothly on both iOS and Android.
The goal is to give users an intuitive editing workspace for importing, trimming, splitting, arranging and enhancing video clips and photos. Users should also be able to import photos or footage directly from supported social/media accounts where platform APIs permit it—import only, with no direct posting or publishing required.
The app should focus on reliable, user-friendly editing tools rather than AI-powered functionality. AI features such as AI generation, AI effects, automatic editing, AI avatars, AI background removal, or similar AI capabilities are not required.
