My Windows desktop client, macOS client, and matching web app are ready for a full test cycle. The goal is to confirm every major workflow is reliable, performant under load, and free of obvious security weaknesses before the next release.
Scope of work
• Functional testing – walk through all documented user journeys, record reproducible issues, and supply screenshots or screen recordings for any deviation from expected behaviour.
• Performance testing – generate realistic load, capture response times, memory/CPU consumption, and highlight any bottlenecks.
• Security testing – run vulnerability scans, attempt common attack vectors, and provide a concise risk assessment for anything discovered.
I have not locked the project to a specific stack, so feel free to propose the mix of tools you find most efficient. Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, Gatling, OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite or similar are all acceptable as long as they deliver clear, actionable results.
Deliverables
1. A brief but complete test plan outlining coverage for Windows, macOS, and the web version.
2. Executable or scripted test cases (where automation is used) with instructions for rerun.
3. Bug and issue log with severity, environment details, and steps to reproduce.
4. Performance and security reports, including raw data and an executive summary that prioritises fixes.
5. A final sign-off report confirming pass/fail status for each test area.
Please flag any roadblocks early and suggest additional checks if you believe they would add value.
