I want to roll out a slim first-version of a real-time cricket “color trading” web app that lets visitors practise trades with virtual coins while a live match is on. For this initial milestone I am keeping the scope intentionally tight: the only fully-built module has to be the live-score engine that streams ball-by-ball data and basic match details for every Indian domestic fixture and IPL game.
Here is what I must see working before we move forward:
• A responsive front end that shows the current match status, scorecard and over-by-over updates in near real time.
• A simple trade panel where a visitor can choose a color (red / green up-down style) and place a virtual-coin stake. No wallet integration or sign-in flows yet; the stake can be stored locally just for the session.
• A lightweight back end (Node.js, Firebase, Python or similar—you can advise) that consumes a reliable cricket live-data API, filters out everything except Indian domestic and IPL matches, and pushes updates to the front end over WebSocket or Server-Sent Events.
• Clear separation of data layer and UI so that wallet, trade history and user accounts can drop in later without major rewrites.
• Deployment to a testable cloud endpoint (Heroku, Vercel, AWS, etc.) with concise setup documentation.
The build should feel snappy on mobile, with scores updating in under five seconds of the actual event. Once this MVP is stable I will open a follow-up project for wallets, persistent trade history and full user profiles, so clean, modular code is essential.
