I’m looking for a **good gaming video editor** who can take **long, raw gameplay/VOD footage** and turn it into engaging content for YouTube.

I recently played **Moo? on release** and have long gameplay footage that needs to be edited into either **long-form YouTube videos or Shorts**.

## What I Need

The most important skill is being able to **watch long gameplay footage and find the best moments yourself**.

You should be able to:

* Cut long raw VODs into **8–15+ minute YouTube videos**
* Find funny, exciting, unexpected and memorable moments
* Remove boring/repetitive gameplay and dead time
* Create a good flow and story from hours of footage
* Turn the same long VOD into **multiple Shorts**
* Identify moments that work particularly well as short-form content
* Create strong hooks for both long-form videos and Shorts
* Understand pacing and viewer retention

## Editing Style

I want the editing to feel **entertaining and natural**, not overloaded with effects.

Good:

* Strong cuts
* Great pacing
* Funny timing
* Useful zooms
* Good sound effects
* Music when appropriate
* Captions/text when they add value
* Memes/reactions when they actually make the moment funnier

The editor should know **when NOT to edit** as well.

## Most Important Requirement

**You must be comfortable editing LONG gameplay recordings.**

I don't want to provide timestamps for every single moment.

I want someone who can watch the footage, understand the gameplay, recognise what is entertaining, and make good editing decisions independently.

### You should be able to turn:

**1–3+ hours of raw gameplay → 8–15 minute long-form video**

AND/OR

**1–3+ hours of raw gameplay → multiple strong Shorts**
