Project: White-Label Solar Panel Bird-Proofing Video
I’m hiring a video editor to create a realistic, polished 30–35 second vertical video for a solar panel bird-proofing service. I’ll provide one reference image showing how the cleaning should look. Use it only as guidance for the cleaning shot; create a varied video with other suitable footage and angles.
Video requirements
- Format: 9:16, 1080 × 1920, suitable for Instagram Reels and Stories.
- Style: photorealistic, natural, documentary-style footage of British homes, rooftops and solar panels.
- Use varied shots: wide rooftop views, close details, side angles and a clear finished-installation shot.
- Open immediately with realistic pigeons gathering or moving beneath solar panels. They should look slightly scary and attention-grabbing, while still believable.
- Show the problem: nesting debris beneath panels, bird droppings and debris in gutters.
- Show debris being cleaned off the roof. Do not show anyone putting twigs, leaves, dirt or debris onto it.
- Clearly show black perimeter mesh being fitted around the outside edge of the solar panels, including visible clips and a finished view of the mesh.
- Use subtle, upbeat instrumental music.
White-label requirements
Make the video easy to adapt for different brands:
- No voiceover, dialogue, captions, subtitles, on-screen text, company name, logo, branded clothing, watermark or fixed brand colours.
- End with a simple, neutral card with clear empty space where a client’s logo can be added or replaced.
- Keep the end card editable in the project file.
People and safety
Do not show people, faces or full bodies. If a worker is needed, show only gloved hands and forearms. Do not show spikes, drilling into solar panels or unsafe roof work.
Reference image
I’ll provide one image to show the desired appearance of the cleaning action. Use it only as a visual guide for that part of the video. Do not rely on it as the sole footage or treat it as a mesh-installation reference.
Delivery
Provide the finished video in 1080 × 1920 and the editable project file. Keep the music separate in the project and make the end card easy to rebrand.
Please avoid
- Repeating the same shot or using only the reference image.
- Showing debris being placed onto the roof.
- Showing mesh across the panels instead of around their perimeter.
- Unrealistic pigeons, glossy CGI, dramatic effects, invented claims or extra text.
