Create Educational History YouTube Shorts

I’m planning a series of bite-sized history lessons designed specifically for the YouTube Shorts format. Each video will run under 60 seconds and should clearly explain one key historical concept so viewers walk away saying, “I finally get it!”

Scope of work
• Research or confirm the accuracy of the chosen topic (I’ll supply a shortlist, but fresh suggestions are welcome).
• Write a concise script that hooks the viewer in the first few seconds, presents the concept in plain language and ends with a memorable takeaway.
• Produce and edit the short in vertical 9:16, 1080×1920, adding engaging captions, royalty-free background music and simple on-screen graphics or archival imagery where it helps comprehension.
• Deliver the final MP4 plus editable project file (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve—use whichever you prefer as long as you can supply the source).

Acceptance criteria
1. Runtime ≤ 60 s.
2. Must explain the selected historical concept clearly without assuming prior knowledge.
3. Captions are accurate, well-timed and error-free.
4. Audio levels balanced for mobile viewing.
5. No copyright-restricted footage, images or music.

Please show or link to at least one previous short-form educational video so I can gauge style and clarity. Once we agree on the first clip, we can move on to additional concepts as milestones.
