I have decided to build our new digital library on e-Granthalaya 4.0 and need a specialist who can take the platform from a clean install to a fully functioning member-only portal. The collection will host books, journals and a range of multimedia files, so proper cataloguing rules and metadata handling inside e-Granthalaya are essential.
The core tasks I have in mind are:
• Install and configure the latest stable release of e-Granthalaya 4.0 on our server (Windows stack with IIS and MS-SQL already available).
• Create the digital repository modules for books, journals and multimedia so that each format is displayed correctly in the OPAC.
• Set up member-only authentication, ensuring that non-registered visitors cannot view or download items.
• Enable the built-in simple search bar and verify that records can be located by title, author and keyword.
• Import a small pilot batch of records to prove the workflow, then document the import process so we can scale up later.
Deliverables will be accepted once the system is reachable online, records can be searched, and content is fully restricted to logged-in members. A short hand-over call and a setup guide will round out the job.
If you have hands-on experience with e-Granthalaya (or similar NIC-developed systems), MS-SQL, IIS and library metadata standards like MARC21 or Dublin Core, your expertise will be a perfect fit.
